Part time Physiatry Practice Opportunity Glenolden PA

Opportunity:

A very successful PM&R/Physiatry practice owner is looking for an associate PM&R physician

The practice offers general Physiatry services, Interventional pain management services and Physical Therapy on-site.

Associate Doctor Responsibilities:

  • General Physiatry evaluations for new and existing patients
  • Recommend & conduct EMG testing as medically necessary
  • Trigger point & joint injections as medically necessary
  • Maintain high clinical productivity
  • Set and practice standards of excellence for self & emphasize for clinical staff
  • Promote the practice to key stakeholders

Doctor Profile:

  • Board certified in PMR (Interventional pain management a plus)
  • Valid and clear license to practice in PA
  • Ability and willingness to perform general Physiatry consults and perform EMGs
  • Broad and current knowledge of evidence based, best practice, and treatment planning
  • Willingness to see a diverse patient/payer mix (commercial insurance, Medicare, workers’ compensation, personal injury, no-fault) with acute and chronic conditions
  • Prior experience with Personal Injury patients required
  • Availability to start working immediately
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Caring, Compassionate, Empathetic and Confident with great bed side manner – your patients will come back or refer a friend!
  • Professional and respectful of colleagues, patients and clinical/office staff
