The Swain Pain Center has been operating in Bryson City for more than a decade. The physician and staff of the pain center care for a number of chronic conditions, such as neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, cancer pain, diabetic and joint pain, arthritis, neuropathic pain, sciatica and injuries sustained at work. They provide comprehensive care including medication management, interventional procedures, pain pump, spinal cord simulator implant and management, and psychological support.
