We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist 168-bed hospital in the greater Philadelphia area. The current anesthesia department consists of 3 MDs and 7 CRNAs. In addition to general anesthesia, the facility also specializes in inpatient, outpatient, medical and surgical, diagnostics, and emergency care. Brandywine Hospital also offers bariatric surgery for weight loss, adult and older adult behavioral health, robotic-assisted surgery and an eating disorders unit.
Schedule: 2 weeks of general and cardiac calls followed by 1 week off (about 120 calls total). First week schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Second week schedule: Tuesday, Thursday. Then off from Friday afternoon until the following Monday (10 days). Call days range from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. Work post call but you are the first doctor out (usually around 1:00PM-2:00PM).
Staffing model: 7 CRNAs to 3 MDs
