Case Mix: hearts in addition to gen surg, B&B, thoracic, major vascular, and neurosurgery cases. anesthesiologists work in the hospital OR, as well as a Endo, GI and OB suite.
Heart Cases: 1200 hearts per year. Volume includes: Complex valves, Valve CABG, Valve repair, reoperations, Aortic reconstruction, aortic dissection, minimally invasive valve surgery Revascularization CABG, on and off pump, to include patient on mechanical support. Heart Transplantation and LVAD's. Mechanical support of the Right and Left heart, Structural heart procedures Electrophysiology procedures.
.Located in Nassau County, NY, on the North Shore of Long Island. The neighborhood is served by the Long Island Rail Road, which provides direct and convenient access to New York City.
