Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is a general medical and surgical hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL, with 257 beds. Fort Walton Beach is a city in southern Okaloosa County, Florida. FWBMC have 9 general operating rooms, 2 dedicated heart rooms and 1 cystoscopy room to provide surgical services. Types of cases performed at this facility includes: General, Vascular, Cardiovascular, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Urology, Laparoscopic, Neurological, Maxillofacial, Thoracic, and Emergency Trauma surgery. This is a Level II trauma facility and it has a Physician/CRNA care team model.

Board Requirement: Board-certified/Board-eligible
Schedule: Full-Time
Shifts: Varies
Procedures: Cardiac- Prefer a TEE certified MD but will consider a TEE proficient MD. If the anesthesiologist is not certified in TEE he/she must be confident in reporting TEE data to the CT surgeon.
OR’s and Case Volume: Average 250 cardiac cases per year.
EMR Type: Shareable Ink and it is super easy to use
Trauma Level: II
License Requirement: Able to present with pending license
Privileges: 45-60 days after complete credentialing application is submitted.
