Northern CA – Local Airport

• Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed for coverage July 31 – August 6th
• Monday – Friday: 8-hour shift + Night Call
• Saturday – Sunday: 24 hour Call
• Average 1 – 3 hours of call back during the weekday
• Average 4 hours of call back on the weekend
• 140 Bed Hospital, Level 3 Trauma
• 10 OR’s
• OR Staff: PA’s, NP’s, RN’s, Techs
• No CRNA supervision required
• Average 2 – 5 Surgical Cases per day
• 90% Adult / 10% Pediatric
• Case Load: 60 % General, 5% OB, 10% Neuro (Head and Spine), 10% Cardiac, 5% Thoracic, 5% Vascular, 5% Ortho
• Must be able to do Labor Epidurals and Spinals
• OR Equipment: Sonosite Ultrasound, glidescopes, disposable boronchoscopes, flotrac, Hotline, Belmont rapid infuser, cerebral oximeter, BIS monitor, TEE Phyllips CX50 etc
• Fellowship Training required
• BC or BE (within 2 years of Residency training)
• 60 – 90 Days for credentialing
