CARDIAC ANESTHESIOLOGY | Locum Tenens Job in Virginia
Northern Virginia - 2 hours from Washington DC - 1 hr from Charlottesville
CLOSEST AIRPORT: Staunton (SHD) Airport (13.1 miles)
- Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed for ongoing locum tenens assignment
- August forward
- Cases are 100% adult cardiac
- Case types: open heart, thoracic, TAVR, Watchman, ablations, PA catheter, covering mitraclips
- Shifts needed:
- Weekdays 7a-3p + Weeknight call and Weekend call
- Preferred call rotation is: Week 1- 24/7 call, Week 2 - no call, Week 3 - 7a-3p (no call, no weekends)
- Average callbacks: weeknight -1, weekend 1
- Average # of admissions: 1 per weeknight and 1 per weekend
- EPIC EMR
- 3 Anesthesiologists + 8 CRNA’s on Staff
- Provider will have a dedicated cardiac anesthesia tech
- Patient population: 31% Medicare/50% commercial
- Client will pay for travel
- Will accept MINIMUM 1 week per month of coverage
- Credentialing takes 30 - 60 days
