Poughkeepsie, NY- 1.5 Hour Drive North of NYC!

Seeking a TEE certified, preferably fellowship trained Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, busy, strong, diverse and innovative private practice servicing this 360 bed level 2 trauma center covering an extensive area from Fishkill, NY to north of Albany, NY.

Hospital is recognized for stroke and cardiac care, and has the area’s first and only cardiothoracic surgery center. For women’s and children’s health services, they offer the first and only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the region for premature and critically ill infants. Recently became a Level II Trauma Center, further advancing the center’s vision to provide the community with local access to state-of-the-art medical care.

Practice is expanding in multiple locations both in and outside the hospital setting providing a wide array of environments designed to provide and encourage significant professional advancement. A new state of the art hospital center is under construction, and life in the beautiful Hudson Valley is peaceful and sophisticated with 2 premier college campuses and easy access to NYC

Cases: 50/50 general and cardiac split, with a variety of cases which include: Cardiac 400 cases per year (done by a cardiac team), neuro IR, regional, GI, etc. No neonates, but some healthy peds. OB service is responsible for 3000 deliveries a year. Performed in the OR, ASC’S and physician offices throughout the Hudson Valley.
