This regional medical center, 70 miles east of Nashville, is seeking a board certified/board Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its team. The facility is a city owned nonprofit hospital with a 350,000-catchment area. Exceptional earning potential with extremely large referral base that covers 14 Counties. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Join three experienced Anesthesiologists
• Cardiothoracic experience a must, fellowship training a plus
• Transesophageal echocardiogram required
• Covering Cardiac (inclusive of structural), Thoracic, & Vascular Services
• Call is every 3rd or 4th evening and every 4th weekend. Unusual to work past 11:00P
• 6-8 weeks off per year. Call is 1:3 when someone is on vacation
• Rarely work over 40 hours per week
• Covering 2 CV OR’s and 1 vascular lab each day
• 300 open hearts per year
• 30 Bed Open ICU / 16 Bed CVICU
• Hospital EMR is Paragon
• 40 surgeons on staff including Neuro, Ortho, GI, OBGYN, GS, Vascular
• Full cardio program inclusive of structural procedures
• Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center
• Hospitalist, Neuro-Hospitalist & Peds HM service lines in place
• Acute trauma transferred to Vanderbilt
• ED census of 53,000 per year – No trauma designation

PACKAGE:

• All physicians are Independent Contractors
• Guaranteed Hospital Subsidy above MGMA Median
• Student Loan Forgiveness
• All physicians utilize the same billing & collecting service
• Relocation Stipend
• Sign on Bonus
• Physician will be responsible for their own Medical Malpractice
• Med/Mal is approximately 10-11K per year
• Historically 6-8 weeks off per year
