We have an exciting practice opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Allergist at one of our Las Vegas, Nevada clinics. This is an employed practice position.

In this role, you will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions. Such diseases can range from food allergy, medication allergy, chronic cold, bronchitis, or sinus infections, to asthma, allergic eye diseases, atopic dermatitis, and allergic rhinitis. Allergists and immunologists are trained to not only diagnose and treat, but also manage and prevent immune system disorders such as autoimmune diseases and immunodeficiency diseases.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Treat allergic diseases and immunological disorders in patients
  • Find the cause of allergic irritants that trigger immune responses in the body
  • Perform clinical evaluation of allergies in patients for appropriate treatments
  • Participate in the ongoing research efforts on allergies
  • Study and focus on epidemiologic aspects of allergies and immunology disorders
  • Provide primary care to patients suffering from common allergic reactions.
  • Determine and study the causative agents or allergens in patients
  • Diagnose and treat allergic reactions like hay fever, contact dermatitis and other types of allergies
  • Initiate allergist duties to develop and design immunization programs to resist allergens or causative agents

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have completed residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology
  • Board certified or board eligible in specialty
  • Licensure in the State of Nevada or eligibility to obtain prior to employment
  • DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $269,300 to $405,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
