The Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Division at Children’s Hospital of Michigan (CHM) at the Detroit Medical Center has a long history of excellence in care for asthmatic, allergic, and immune deficient children. We are actively seeking a BC/BE Allergist, specifically with an interest in Food Allergy, to join the well-established division. The division runs multiple asthma and allergy clinics throughout the Detroit area and surrounding suburbs as well as the inpatient asthma service for pediatrics. The clinics treats children and adults for allergic disorders and asthma.
The division is comprised of five full-time and two part-time physicians along with a strong support staff. The average weekend call is every 4-5 weeks. Hospital rounds are required and are done one day per week. Candidates must have an interest in Food Allergy and must be able to do food challenges and round on immune deficiency. An interest in academics is preferred as the division has a fellowship program and supports the academic mission and training programs of Detroit Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and Wayne State University.
