Altru is seeking a BC/BE Allergist to join its team in Grand Forks, ND.

[Register to View] is a community-owned, integrated healthcare system with a Trauma II hospital, a specialty hospital, more than a dozen clinics in Grand Forks and the surrounding region, and a large home care network. More than 200 physicians are employed with Altru crossing 44 specialties and serving a referral population of over 225,000 residents in in northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. As the first member of the [Register to View] , Altru’s providers have access to clinically integrated tools extending Mayo Clinic’s knowledge and expertise to patients.

Practice Overview

  • General adult and pediatric patient mix, though majority of patients are adult
  • Average of 16-20 patients per day in the clinic, plus 16-23 shots per day given by the shot nurse
  • Shots given to ages 6-70 years, with only some shots given to patients outside that range
  • There could be the occasional rare patient under the age of 3 (mostly for milk allergies or skin allergies), however many time the pediatricians manage these unless severe
  • Strong Family Medicine referral base
