The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine’s Advance Lung Disease Programs for Baylor University Medical Center-Dallas is seeking a fellowship trained Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Specialist at our flagship campus in downtown Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the respiratory tract such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis and occupational lung diseases; diseases associated with autoimmune or auto-inflammatory syndromes; diseases of the immune system or drug-induced immune suppression including stem cell, bone marrow and/or organ transplantation, and systemic diseases including anaphylaxis.

Features of the Position:

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Martha Foster Asthma Center to deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary care and assist with the integration of services to deliver high quality evidence-based care
  • Strong interest in asthma and occupational lung diseases
  • Collaborate with pulmonologist focused on the management of asthma and associated airways diseases
  • Develop an allergy & immunology practice in an outpatient setting with occasional inpatient consultation
  • Collaborate and educate fellows, advanced practice providers, residents, and medical students.

Academic appointment with Texas A&M University School of Medicine is available. Rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience

  • Participate and design clinical trials and other research projects in the areas of asthma, upper airways disease, occupational lung diseases and immunologic disorders

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited medical school with an M.D. or D.O. degree.

Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.

Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology and board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Proficient communication skills, verbal and written.
