Aerospace Medicine Physician needed in Ohio area to provide services as outlined below. This ideal opportunity is a flexible schedule Monday to Friday with 12 required weekends per year. Physician is board certified in Aerospace Medicine, and, has current or previous Air Flight Surgeon qualifications.
Duties Include:
•Non-fly Physicals, Flight Clearance Exams, Flight Physicals, Periodic Health Assessments, Case reviews and associated work.
•In addition, Air force Civilian Firefighter Health Exams, Occupational Health Exams, Fitness for Duty Examinations, Flyer Assessments for Duty Not Including Flying, and Flyer Assessments for return to Flying Status.
•12 weekends per year for Unit Training Assembles. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
•Interpret the results of studies and tests provided.
•Responsible for notifying member of all abnormal test results and will be responsible to advise the member of their own requirement to follow up with their civilian medical provider for further evaluation and treatment.
•Administration duties as required and invoicing for payment for hours worked and services rendered.
