This campus is located inside Edwards Air Force Base in California and is considered NASA's premier site for aeronautical research.

Responsibilities:

The Health Physicist would work closely with the Occupational Health Clinic's Staff and Industrial Hygienist to conduct exposure assessments and environmental surveillance of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, plans of action, and other responsibilities related to profession.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in physical sciences, engineering or biological science with 20 semester hours of Physical science courses
• Possess a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the professional practice of
  • Health Physics

OR

Radiation Safety Officer (RSO)

OR

Laser Safety Officer (LSO)

• Certification from the American Academy of Health Physics (AAHP)
  • Or certification within 3 months of hire
