The Flight Surgeon will provide outpatient services to eligible beneficiaries assigned to the Flight Medicine clinic at Kirtland AFB, NM.
Qualifications:
Possess MD or DO education from accredited and approved School of Medicine or Osteopathy
Posses current, unrestricted Medical License
Board Certified in Aerospace Medicine preferred. If not BC,must show proof of completion from any any medical residency and 3 years experience as US Military Flight Surgeon experience
Must show minimum of 35 hours of direct patient care in Flight Medicine
Must show minimum of 3 years experience within the last 10 years as a privileged US Military Flight Surgeon
Foreign trained Physicians must show proof of ECFMG or Fifth Pathway
Possess current DEA
Possess BLS and ACLS
Ability to submit required documents upon request, complete and obtain favorable credentialing requirements and favorable background check
Hours:
M- F 0730 am- 430 pm
No Weekends- No Federal Holidays- No On Call
