Respected regional Health System, a not-for-profit community hospital, is seeking a Board Certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join an established palliative/hospice service. This unique opportunity is open to an enthusiastic candidate interested in enhancing a quality palliative medicine program while leading a fellowship training program.
Duties to include…
- Inpatient consultation service averaging 8-10 patients per day
- Continue development of outpatient services
- Recruitment of fellowship candidates
- Develop and direct the approved Fellowship in accordance with the general and specialty-specific regulations
- Shared call with up to 4 other providers
Position details…
- Fellowship trained preferred
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Board Certified)
- Prefer 2 years post graduate clinical experience
- Teaching experience preferred
- M.D. or D.O.
- Full-time, permanent, hospital-employed position
