Job Description

Memphis is a city on the Mississippi River in southwest Tennessee, famous for the influential strains of blues, soul and rock 'n' roll that originated there. Elvis Presley, B.B. King and Johnny Cash recorded albums at the legendary Sun Studio, and Presley’s Graceland mansion is a popular attraction. Other music landmarks include the Rock 'n' Soul Museum, Blues Hall of Fame and Stax Museum of American Soul Music.

Details:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Shift is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Oversee 2 - 3 medical clinics and up to 8 or more physicians
  • Coach, mentor, and train staff
  • Manage physician recruitment including talent selection, leading interview panels, facilitated practice, hiring, and performance management
  • Participate in doctors' meetings three times a week

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Board Eligible with certification within 24 months
  • Current Tennessee medical license
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required; 5 years preferred
  • Experience as a medical lead or Medical Director
  • Experience managing senior and junior physicians
