As a medical director at USACS, you will be responsible for collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department, and as a leader within the organization. Details

  • Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
  • Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
  • Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • This position is split between Ascension Seton Bastrop and Ascension Seton Smithville.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

  • ED Volume: 17,000
  • 9-bed ED
  • 7-bed inpatient unit
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Full lab and radiology capability
  • Compass EMR same as the rest of the Ascension Seton network
  • Facility opened in 2019

HOSPITAL

  • Micro-hospital with 24/7 emergency care, inpatient care, and radiology services
