Hello,

This need is for a state run facility located in Napa, California. Please take a look at the requirements below and let me know if you have any questions. Minimum experience/skill requirements:

  • Must have at least 5 years experience as Chief Physician/CMO providing managing at least four different medical departments in a governmental healthcare system, with departments counting inclusive of primary care, nurse practitioners, podiatry, radiology, central supply, occupational health care, respiratory care, public health, laboratory, dentistry, and/or optometry.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience providing direct supervision and management of no less than 15 staff.
  • Must have at least 2 years experience in working with severely mentally ill patients either as a manager or in direct care of those patients.
  • Must have at least 2 years experience managing outside hospitalization for governmental healthcare patients
  • Must have at least 2 years experience developing and managing medical subspecialists needed to provide care to those patients with subspecialist counting inclusive of any medical subspecialist.
  • Must have a current California Medical or Osteopathic Board license without any current or past complaints, restrictions or actions taken against it.
  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine, with experience in on-going direct patient care for the past 5 years, without any periods of no patient contact for more than 6 months during that 5 years, inclusive of adult and geriatric patients.
  • Must be able to provide a current reference from a supervisor while providing the experience in item #1.
  • Must be able to start September 1.
  • Must be able to work full time, with a schedule of either 4/10s or 5/8 Monday through Friday, and be available for after hours, vacation/holiday coverage if shifts are not filled by civil servant MAS physicians.
