Top-tier health system is currently seeking an Associate Program Director to help initiate and grow a new Addiction Fellowship program located in Harrisburg, PA.
About the position:
- Supports successful training of fellows in our new Addiction Fellowship program
- Assists with recruiting of highly qualified fellows
- Collaborates with Addiction Medicine program director on operations
- Assists in hiring additional faculty to support the Addiction Medicine Fellowship program
- Ensures individual faculty members meet or exceed ongoing requirements such as scholarly activity
- Ensures the quality of patient care provided by fellows and faculty
- Serves as a clinical and professional role model
- Participates in external academic and educational programs to improve the program
- Represents the program at internal and external meetings
- Attends GMEC and appropriate sub-committee meetings
- Monitors work environment for fellow well being
- Ensures program meets all regulatory requirements at all times
Desired Candidate:
- Board Certification in EM, IM or Palliative Medicine
- Must be Addiction Boarded
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients
- Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
