Full or Part Time IM or FP MD with Addiction experience to join practice just outside of Boston MA Job 1556
BC or BE in Family or Internal Medicine with Addiction experience * Ideal candidate would have at least 1 year experience working in primary care with individuals with addiction or have a strong interest in working with addictions * Addiction or Substance Abuse certification is preferred and Suboxone Certified * is responsible for the primary medical care, medication assisted treatment & education of patients who struggle with addictions * can be part time or full time up to 40 hour work week * Will also have the opportunity to assist in a role as medical director of a program providing primary care to patients on medication assisted treatment through a local methadone clinic * Provide medication assisted treatment including Suboxone and Vivitrol as deemed appropriate * Hospitalizes patients and assumes full care for those patients * M-F schedule with shared call
