An addiction medicine facility is seeking an IM or addiction medicine physician for ongoing to perm coverage starting ASAP.
The facility is located 2 hours north of Pittsburgh, PA.
The schedule is Monday-Friday from 6 am-3 pm with no call and coverage needed every other weekend. Patients are all 18+ and methadone dependent. MAT waiver is required.

Duties include:
Provide initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support for individuals with complex addiction and substance related conditions
Completes admission orders as needed. If the admission progress note and admission orders are completed by another practitioner, will be responsible for reviewing the note and orders.
Participates in the formulation of the treatment plan with 72 hours, per Treatment Plan Policy.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice in addictions medicine, must have current DEA licensure and prescriptive authority in PA and possess the ability to prescribe buprenorphine. Candidates also must have previous experience managing complex substance use disorders; Ability to work on-site with diverse care teams in a variety of settings; Effective time management and communication skills; Computer literate and experience with electronic Medical Records and Ability to develop relationships with network and community physicians and other providers.
