Medical Director - Addiction Pain Medicine Physician needed in Northern Vermont
Seeking a Medical Director for a Comprehensive Pain Management Program for chronic pain and addiction patients in a team-based approach with other physicians on site as well as in our community practices.
Full time position. Monday through Friday, 8 am. to 5 pm. There is no call required for this position. The Medical Director will provide supervision to other providers within the clinic as part of this role. Board Certified/Eligible in Addiction Medicine. or within five years from the date of eligibility to sit for boards. Board Certification in a primary specialty is required for Medical Staff Membership. One year of experience in the treatment of narcotic addiction preferred, as well as experience in medically assisted treatment of addiction.

- Experience in treating both chronic pain and addiction patients through medical management
- Treatment of chronic pain through non-interventional techniques is highly desirable
- Provide prevention, screening, intervention and treatment related to substance use disorders and addiction
