Desired:
Experience working with patients suffering from addiction.
Experience working with patients that have a history with the criminal justice system.
Experience with developing, implementing, and/or executing a pain management program or Board certification in Pain Medicine
Experience with and knowledge of third party payer requirements, California practice guidelines and malpractice laws, Title 22, Bureau of Primary Care and state funding sources preferred.
Experience working in FQHC
Knowledge Required:
Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
Experience working successfully with safety net patient populations addressing issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self sufficiency.
Familiarity with electronic health records and patient registries.
