A clinic in Florida is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment

Dates: 5a-12p

Schedule: 12 hours per week; days are flexible

Setting: Outpatient

Call: No call

Volume: 18-30

Patient Ages: 18-70

Procedures: Intake assessments, quarterly assessments, impairment assessments, dose increases and decreases.

Cases: Physicians are there for dosing and physicals on new patients. Physical examination of all patients upon admission, including, without limitations, annual physical examinations and health examinations, and review with patients of admissions-related laboratory results. All examinations shall be performed consistent with the applicable rules and regulations for medically-monitored treatment programs/facilities in the State. Issuance of patient medication change orders and such verbal orders as may be issued from time to time, completion of re-admit physical examinations and annual physician examinations of all patients Referral of patients to primary care providers for medical conditions other than narcotics addiction

Support Staff: LPN, RN supv, and Counselor.
