The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking clinical psychologists to join our Behavioral Health Team. We are recruiting candidates who complement our team and support our ambulatory clinical mission. Faculty will join a multi-disciplinary clinical team of primary care physicians, social work, dieticians, and pharmacists at one of our growing outpatient practices. At OSUWMC, we are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Our providers offer cognitive-behavioral and allied treatments in offices co-located in primary care practices with some opportunity for integrated care. We seek individuals with expertise in clinical health psychology and mental health concerns common in primary care settings (i.e., anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders). Faculty have opportunities to contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits. We offer a collaborative environment both within and across disciplines.
Basic Qualifications:
  • A psychology degree from an APA or CPA Accredited Clinical Program
  • Successful completion of a clinical internship
  • Licensed or License-Eligible in Ohio
  • Fellowship training preferred
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
The Department of Family Medicine offers patient-centered personalized medical services through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at our family medicine centers located throughout Columbus and Franklin County. These centers feature family medicine teams made up of physicians, residents, nurse care coordinators, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, dietitians, medical assistants/technicians, and mental health experts working together to ensure that our patients receive excellent personalized healthcare.

Family medicine offers team-based services, including physical examinations, wellness care, pediatric services, care for sports-related injuries, women’s healthcare, acute care and chronic disease management, family and marital counseling, psychological services, minor surgery, care coordination, dietitian nutritional services, pharmacist medication review and much more. In addition, as part of one of the nation’s top-ranked medical centers, the Department of Family Medicine has access to nationally and internationally recognized specialists and support services.
