Northside Hospital is seeking a Director of Osteopathic Education, Family Medicine to their growing GME program located in Gwinnett county Georgia. Program is dually accredited by both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), providing for the training of M.D.’s and D.O.’s in primary care.

Education, Training, & Experience

  • DO degree
  • AOBFP Board certified through a recognized AOA Pathway in Family Medicine
  • Member in good standing with the AOA and AODME
  • Possess administrative ability and sufficient expertise to implement a training program and curriculum in Osteopathic Medicine and manipulative treatment.
  • Active or ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of 3 year faculty experience preferred

Position Overview

  • Work with the Allopathic Family Medicine Program Director and Program Coordinator to maintain Osteopathic Recognition accreditation in the Northside Hospital – Gwinnett Family Medicine Residency Program
  • The Osteopathic Program Director of Family Medicine is a permanent sitting member of GMC’s Graduate Medical Education Committee.
