GERIATRICIAN NEEDED FOR ACADEMIC FACULTY POSITION
ORLANDO, FLORIDA!

Well respected Internal Medicine/ Geriatric program is seeking a physician who is fellowship trained in Geriatrics.
Join a team of six other physicians including one other Geriatrician.
This position is unique with a combination of Academics & Clinical responsibilities including: Interest in developing a Center of Excellence for the geriatric population/”Center for Aging”. Interests will need to include comprehensive care of the elderly patient and chronic disease management for the aging population including memory disorder. Academic interests encouraged including teaching to rotating medical students and residents. Organization is interested in potentially starting a geriatric residency program so prior academic/teaching experience is desired but not mandatory for the current position.
The position currently being offered is a clinical position not predominantly administrative or research oriented though there would be potential clinical research opportunities. The candidate would be a full time faculty member of the Residency Program and would need to be a board certified internist and geriatrician.
This is an employed opportunity with exceptional benefits to go along with a very competitive compensation plan (including Tail Malpractice Insurance) and a production bonus plan.
Office Hours: 8-4:3, Monday thru Friday
4o hour work week
Office location: Downtown Orlando, Florida
There is no rounding in the hospital or nursing homes except for once per month inpatient residency rounding.
