Associate Chair of Women and Children's Services in New Jersey
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $300000.00 - 400000.00

Merritt Hawkins is pleased to partner with this physician-driven multispecialty medical practice that offers comprehensive primary care, preventive care, and specialty care. Perhaps most importantly, they offer close physician collaboration within and across medical specialties and seamless integration with all the clinical resources they have to offer.

Practice:
You will practice as a pediatric subspecialist (rank commensurate with subspecialty and experience) within the Department of Pediatrics at Mt Sinai and also serve as a pediatric subspecialist in the Medical Group. Your main position as Associate Chair for Women and Children’s Services will be to manage the pediatric portion of the practice in collaboration with the Chair and CMO of the medical group.

Responsibilities:
  • The delivery of clinical services including clinical cost management, utilization, quality assurance, evidence-based medicine initiatives, medical protocol development, EHR implementation, and system based practice initiatives
  • Performs clinical duties in subspecialty, working with the medical group and Mt Sinai to foster the best model of integrated care between the two health systems
  • Significant administrative responsibilities which will include strategic planning, relationship building among private pediatricians and subspecialists, co-branding of services, and responsibilities relative to physician recruitment/retention and productivity/clinical revenue enhancement
  • Be a voting member of the Physician Leadership Council of the Board of Trustees
