Chief Pediatric Neurologist in Kentucky

Merritt Hawkins’ Department of Academics has partnered with the University of Kentucky College Of Medicine and its Department of Neurology for this key recruitment. This is a unique opportunity to lead the Division of Child Neurology. The school has an incredibly rich academic environment with expanding clinical and research centers. New for 2022 – Endowed Professorship available for experienced candidates!

UK has developed a 20-year, $2.5 billion plan to construct an innovative academic medical campus to advance the growth of research and health education university-wide. They are a regional referral and pediatric care center for Central and Eastern Kentucky, with more than 70 pediatric sub-specialists and over 300 pediatric nurses as well as respiratory therapists, dietitians, social workers, and pharmacists, all of whom are dedicated to caring for children.

Qualified candidates will have the clinical expertise and an academic track record necessary to qualify for the rank of associate professor within the UK College of Medicine, or receive the special academic appointment of Endowed Professor. Ideal candidates will have administrative experience with a demonstrable track record of success and a commitment to building a collaborative program.
