The UTMB Community Hospital is located on the League City Campus which has a multi-purpose procedure room that can accommodate most Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. The UTMB Health Clear Lake Campus is a new addition which also hosts a state-of-the-art EP lab that will be ready for use in the Spring of 2019.

Academic Electrophysiologist -About the position

The Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas, is seeking an ABIM Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our academic practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to continue to build and grow the Electrophysiology service.
The candidate should be proficient in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures including; cardiac device implantation, diagnostic EP studies, and complex cardiac ablations including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. The candidate should possess outstanding communication skills and be able to network with the referring physicians. The primary focus will be on clinical growth; however, the candidate will also participate in teaching and research initiatives.
