Seeking two Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to a practice in northwest Indiana.
Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on general neurological disorders, perform neurological procedures, nerve conduction studies, EEG interpretations, Botox injections, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Schedule: M – F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with one late evening per provider
o Includes two days of outpatient procedures and rounding
o Call expectation of Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday 1:2
• Both inpatient and outpatient service
o Average outpatient volume: 12 – 18 patients per day
o Average inpatient volume: 5 – 12 patients per day
• Common Diagnoses & Procedures
o Coordination problems
o Muscle weakness
o Sensation (Neuropathy)
o Confusion (Dementia)
o Dizziness
o Seizures (epilepsy)
o Stroke
o Neuromuscular disorders
o Lou Gehrig’s disease

o Cluster headaches and migraines

o Geriatric neurology
