Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for full-time faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging both day time positions and an evening position are currently available. The OSU Department of Radiology offers a competitive salary enhanced with an attractive benefits package, including educational opportunities through The Ohio State University. Combination with Vice Chair (Clinical Radiology Research & Technology Assessment) Division Chief, and/or other leadership opportunities are possible in the daytime position if background and leadership capabilities are adequate.

The responsibilities of this position include interpreting state-of-the art abdominal imaging examinations, such as CT, MR, and US of the abdomen and pelvis (cancer and non-cancer). Ability to perform fluoroscopic gastrointestinal and genitourinary studies is required. Body interventional procedures are optional. Clinical services will be performed primarily in a teaching setting with trainee participation. The candidate should be able to prepare and present didactic lectures to trainees. The candidate will have the opportunity to be a collaborative partner in the growth of imaging services at OSUWMC, as well as the ability to participate in research and scholarly activities. The position offers excellent opportunities for advancement in all facets of Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging, supported by the outstanding resources in the 155-person Department, including its world-class Laboratory for Augmented Intelligence in Imaging.

Evening coverage position schedule: 4pm – 2am, Monday-Saturday with a one week on, one week off schedule.

Daytime position: Traditional schedule (no block scheduling offered with the daytime position)

Job Requirements

MD or DO; Successful completion of Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging. Candidates must have technical expertise with CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound. Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Appointment rank and salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
