UT Health Physicians, the clinical practice of the UT Health San Antonio, is seeking family medicine and/or general internal medicine physicians with a strong commitment to patient-centered primary care to join its expanding faculty network. The Primary Care Center (PCC) at UT Health Physicians supports a patient/family-centered care model with a commitment to value-based longitudinal, comprehensive, and proactive care that is patient-centric and team-based. The Center’s mission and care delivery is evidence-based while focused on achieving the Triple Aim.

Supported by committed mentors and leadership, new faculty are given the opportunity to practice in an environment that supports career goals to provide high-quality care, deliver outstanding population health, and can take part in clinically-oriented quality improvement research and teaching.

Applicants should be prepared to manage a wide range of complex problems presenting in primary care, including chronic care and prevention. Inpatient and OB not required. Strong commitment to patient centered primary care and managing the health of the patient population served.
