Seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Advanced Wound Center in Medford, Oregon

The Advanced Wound Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has a dynamic team who are passionate about the work they do. Our team is dedicated full time specifically to wound care. This position is best suited for an individual who is a strong team member, enjoys wound care and developing new skills and is comfortable with a physically active work environment. The Advanced Wound Center Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner serves a very diverse body of patients of all ages. Working effectively as a team member is essential. The clinic is open Monday-Friday and closed for 7 major holidays. Come join our established Advanced Wound Center and grow with us to meet our service area's expanding patient needs.

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford is a Level 2 trauma center and regional referral hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. This 378-bed hospital is a state-of-the-art facility. This hospital is part of Asante Health System, which consists of three hospitals and 40 clinics located in Southern Oregon. Opportunity Highlights:

* Annual base salary of $131,000
* Signing bonus of $10,000

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.

Certifications: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start. Certified Wound Specialist preferred. Obtaining a National Wound Care certification will be required within one year of start date. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience: At least 1 year of independent practice experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner or extensive wound care experience working under protocols as a WOCN/WCN required. Two or more years of experience preferred.
