Urgent Care for Kids & Virtual Care for Families currently has 13 clinic locations across Texas and is rapidly growing. We are driven to provide excellent patient care and customer service. Our purpose is to close the gaps in children’s healthcare through innovation and execution.


We are on the hunt for sharp and innovative Nurse Practitioners, PNP-FNP -or- Physician Assistants certified to work in Urgent Care to work in our Houston area Urgent Care clinics who share our core values: Passion, Humility, Adaptability, Nurture, and Experience.


In this position, you’ll work under the supervision of the site physician(s) and work collaboratively with the clinic care team to render age-appropriate care. You will practice under established protocols. You will also assume independent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of treatment and procedures.

Job Type: (3) Full Time Positions Available

Clinic Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday: 9a-9pm

Saturday-Sunday: 9am-9pm

Requirements

  • Urgent care work experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment and treatment; 2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP, FNP) -or- Physician Assistant
  • Knowledge of Urgent Care Procedures: Laceration Repair, initial management of fractures, and reduction of nursemaid's elbow
  • Knowledge of related OSHA and CLIA guidelines and requirements, general office tasks, confidentiality and filing system
  • Current, valid, unencumbered license as a registered nurse (RN) from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Active Certification - By national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC / FNP-BC) -or- NCCPA
  • PALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Willingness to cover weekdays and weekends, along with willingness to travel to cover clinics within your market region
