HealthCare Partners is looking for a per diem Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment
  • Average census is ~2 patients per hour
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • See patients of all ages, newborns to geriatrics
  • Urgent Care hours are 24 hours, 7 days per week, 365 days a year

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant Program
  • Unrestricted CA PA/NP license and current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
  • EMR Proficiency
  • At least 1-2 years of Urgent Care / EM experience required
  • Must be flexible to work day, nights, weekends

Preferences:

  • Fluent or medical Spanish speaking ability
