TeamHealth has an opportunity to join the team at a growing pediatric after hours' clinic in the beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee, area that is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our reputable urgent care team caring exclusively for pediatric patients. Our service offers a convenient option for pediatric walk-in treatment when the doctor offices are closed. We are expanding by opening a new state of the art facility affiliated with East Tennessee Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will offer practice experience as an advanced practice clinician in an urgent care or fast-track, advanced practice clinician (APC) practice experience in an outpatient pediatrics setting will also be considered. You must be comfortable caring for newborns to patients 21 years of age and be proficient in reading x-rays, splinting, suturing, minor orthopedics, minor trauma assessment and management, wound care/closures, and incision/drainage of abscesses.
