Advanced-Level Practitioners Needed for Urgent Care Medicine in Bakersfield, CA
Full-Time Employed Model with Full Benefits Including Malpractice with Tail Coverage and Retirement
Experienced providers will earn $85/hr. plus OT with a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and an Annual Retention Bonus of $20,000. New Graduates will earn $80/hr. with OT plus a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and an Annual Retention Bonus of $10,000.
Accelerated Urgent Care is a network of urgent care centers dedicated to setting an unprecedented standard of care for our patients and an edifying, intuitive work environment for our employees. We are looking for Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Emergency and Family Medicine trained physicians, as well as Certified Advanced-Level Practitioners, who thrive in an environment surrounded by highly trained and motivated individuals and operate as a team in a collegial and collaborative environment. We have been named "The Best of Bakersfield" for Urgent Care Medicine seven (7) years in a row.
- Trained or experienced in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Full-time providers practice twelve-hour (12) shifts only
- Schedules are made one month in advance
- Full-time is 14 shifts/month, 2 on-call shifts/month, and 12-hour shifts with OT
- Part-time is 6–11 shifts/month, with no on-call, and 12-hour shifts with OT
- Acuity is low, providers see about 4-5 patients per hour - full-spectrum of care provided
- Standard procedures performed are I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair
- X-ray on-site with results in 20 minutes and in-house Point-of-Care testing onsite
- EMR is easy to use and patients can be charted in one minute (VelociDoc with Dragon dictation)
- Practice alongside other Physicians, Advanced-Level Practitioners, RNs, MAs, and X-Ray Techs
- Excellent customer service and communication are a must for all of our staff and providers
