Certified Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery Experience needed for Full-time locum tenens coverage 40 minutes outside Philadelphia, PA.

Must have PA License, NCCPA, BLS/ACLS

Level II Trauma Center
Mon-Friday with alternating night and weekend call
60% inpatient, 35% outpatient
100% adults
EMR is Meditech

Case Breakdown:

• 5 hearts per week, but sometimes it can be 2 a day.

• 10 Vasculars/week

• Aortic case – 1/month

• 2-5 Cases CT and Vascular per day

• CABG's, valves, TAVR, Mitra clip but not transplants.

• McKay version 1 or 3

Required Procedures include: Thoracentesis, Chest Tube Insertion, retrieval of vascular tissues for use as bypass conduit, and endoscopic vein harvesting. Central and Arterial line placement preferred. Placement of Intra Arotic balloon pumps preferred. Placement of Dialysis Catheters preferred.

Compensation to be determined on case by case basis. Hourly+ On-Call Rate. Paid Medical Malpractice Coverage. Paid Travel and Lodging.
