About the Position

Seeking an exceptional Cardiothoracic Surgical APC to work with our collaborative team of professionals involved in the care of cardiothoracic surgical patients. OR assisting, conduit removal with endoscopic technique and pre and post-operative care of patients are important aspects of this position. Our hospital has been a top 100 hospital for cardiovascular surgery outcomes and continues to strive to provide the highest quality care. This position is primarily surgical and inpatient. The schedule will rotate over a three week period. One week will be spent in the OR to cover scheduled cases as well as emergent cases as needed. One week will be spent in the hospital and clinic to help care for post operative patients as well as evaluate patients pre op as needed. The third week will be scheduled off. The off week does not include vacation time.

  • Cardiac surgical experience required.
  • Support physicians' on-call responsibilities and hospital rounds.
  • Assist surgeon in OR as requested, participating in intraoperative and in-hospital care of patients.
  • Appropriate certification.
  • Ability to obtain an active license in the state of WA.
