Neurosurgical Physician Assistant needed in Northern CA
Join a Premier Medical Center and Neurological Center in Northern CA. They are recruiting for a Physician Assistant with one year or more experience working in a Neurosurgery practice. They have five Physician Assistants on the team currently. The Physician Assistants work 3, 24 hour shifts and one 8 hour OR shift every two weeks. Responsibilities include first assist duties in the OR, facilitating ER and inpatient consults, daily floor and ICU rounds, H&P’s and discharge summaries. Should the Physician Assistant have experience with performing invasive procedures such as arterial lines, ventriculostomy , and ICP monitoring this is a plus. The Medical Center offers a competitive compensation package including a full benefits and relocation assistance. This practice is located in a city with a population over 200,000 people with affordable housing and close proximity to many Northern California locations such as San Francisco, Sacramento, Carmel/Monterey and various wine regions, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.
