Popular neurosurgery practice in Dallas, Texas is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of neurosurgery experience, however candidates with experience in another relevant specialty (orthopedics, spine, trauma surgery, etc.) will also be considered.

Description:

• Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
• Monday-Friday
• 50/50 split between clinic and OR
• Daily hours approximately 7:30 AM to 6 PM
• Very light call schedule, typically 2-3 days per month
• Rare weekends or evenings
• First assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
• See patients in clinic pre-op and post-op
• Inpatient rounding and management
• Cases include minimally invasive decompressions, spinal reconstructions, neuro-oncology, epilepsy disorders, neuromodulation, and more

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a physician assistant in the neurosurgery field
• Previous experience as a physician assistant in another surgical field (orthopedics, spine, trauma, etc.)
• Texas Physician Assistant License, or ability to obtain
