One of the most highly regarded neurosurgery programs in Oregon is seeking a physician assistant to join their team! Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of neurosurgery experience, or experience in another surgical specialty such as orthopedic surgery or spine surgery. However, strong recent graduates with applicable surgical rotations and ties to Oregon will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
• Monday-Friday - Approximately 3 days OR, 2 days clinic
• First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
• See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic and conduct hospital rounds
• Call schedule 1 in 4
• No weekend requirements outside of given call schedule

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in neurosurgery or other relevant surgical specialty
• Recent graduates with multiple surgical rotations
• Ability to obtain Oregon Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS
