Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Full-time role joining an established neurosurgery team
- Split time 50/50 between the clinic and OR (2-3 days per week clinic, 2-3 days per week OR)
- Cases are approximately 75% spinal and 25% cranial
- Light call schedule shared among all providers on neurosurgery team
- No travel requirements
- Previous experience as a physician assistant in a surgical specialty, preferably neurosurgery
- Active Alabama Physician Assistant License (or ability to obtain license)
- EMR proficient
- Ability to build rapport with new patients and established patients
- Ability to adapt to new environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
