Specialty Needed: Neurosurgery NP/PA
BC/BE Requirements: Certified
Length Of Assignment: 12 to 24 months
Facility Type: Hospital OR and Clinic
Facility is looking for skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to come in and assist in the OR, work the clinic, and round in the hospital. Looking for a provider with 3 years experience. Must be able to perform H&P's prior to surgery as well as perform full neurological examinations. Exposure to cranial and spine trauma surgeries.
Locums providers would be expected to fulfill the current model of care. OR days have cases that begin at 7:30 and last until done. Non OR days are typically 8-5. Dedicated time given for hospital rounding and clinic patients. Typically seeing about 6 patients per shift. Call would be 1:3 at night and 1:4 for weekends. Will be seeing adult and geriatric patients only.
