- Job Setting: Hospital
- Types of Cases: Drawing blood, Electrocardiogram (EKG), removal of drains and sutures, lumbar punctures, arterial blood gas test (ABG’s), Foley placement, Teachable- programming of shunts.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- Must be Board Certified with 2 years of recent experience in spine surgery or orthopedic spine
- Physician's Assistants(PAs) need to be familiar with surgical terms but will not be performing surgeries. They will set up Operating rooms (OR’s)and do pre/post operation care
