Physician Assistant Palmdale, CA (1 HOUR North of LA)

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our medical practice full time in Palmdale, CA. We are looking for a PA who has experience with direct patient care, with experience in neurosurgery preferred. This is a full-time position with the primary job responsibilities of assisting patients with medication needs, evaluating post op patients, assisting the physician in surgery, and eventually seeing patients in clinic a few days a week. We are looking for a compassionate provider, who pays great attention to detail, enjoys helping others, and can provide surgical assistance to the surgeons.

We are team comprised of Spine fellowship trained board-certified neurosurgeons in complex and minimally invasive spinal surgery, pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, and we collaborate to provide the most comprehensive care for our patients that we can possibly offer. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that is evidence based and patient centered. We also offer physical therapy and functional rehabilitation restoration programs so that some of our patients can gain their life back without surgery, without pain but with coordinated care, little effort, and a great support system. Our Physicians advanced subspecialty focus is on providing minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, neuronavigational brain surgery, endoscopic brain surgery, revision spine surgery, and deformity correction spine surgery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Office hours- assist with clinic hours, patient direct care, medication management, post op checks
  • Surgical first assist with neurosurgical procedures, in office procedures and injections
  • Documentation- timely and accurate charting
  • Collaboration with the physicians, physician assistants, medical professionals, and administrative staff for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • 2+ years’ experience as a PA, neurosurgery experience is preferred
  • PA licensed in CA
  • Ability to First Assist in Neurosurgical procedures

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday to Friday (8 am- 5 pm)

Salary:

  • $130k - $145k (depending on experience)
