Tower Health Pottstown Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Physician Assistant for our growing Surgical Practice. The outpatient practice is located in Pottstown, PA. The practice averages about 15 surgeries a week currently.

Physician Assistant Job Duties are as follows:

  • Assist the physicians in evaluating and treating patients.
  • Prescribe and administer medications as dictated by the supervising physician in the written work agreement.
  • Performs clinical procedures including: Venipuncture, ABG's,IV insertion,interpreting electrocardiogram, care and suturing of lacerations,casting and splinting, pulmonary function screenings tests such as peak flow measurement.
  • Call would be 1:6 weekend
  • Shifts rotate from 4-10 hour shifts per week or 3-12 hour shifts depnding on rotation with our APP.


Should be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, with current NCCPA certification and current licensure in Pennsylvania.Previous primary care experience preferred.Position entails a great deal of walking or standing. May on occasion assist in heavy lifting. Good mental and physical health. Need to assist in heavy lifting.
